The application in prescribed Performa with required enclosures should reach within the last date. Intimation of admission will normally be dispatched about 15 days prior to the proposed enrolment date to the selected candidates. Offers of admission may be unconditional or may call for some conditions, which must be satisfied before the confirmation of the offer. No offer of admission is valid, unless the recipient attends the office on the enrolment date stated in the intimation letter. However under special circumstances specific cases may be considered, if written application is received for extension of admission date. Candidates selected for admission on condition that all information and documents submitted by them are true. Incase of any discrepancy the admission will stand cancelled.

On joining the Training Institute / Centers, selected candidates will be required to give an undertaking to abide by the discipline of the Institute / Centre, take care of the tools and equipment entrusted to their charge, not to discontinue the course, and to confirm to such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Government. If they fail to fulfill the terms of the undertaking, the authority will have theright to discharge them.

To be eligible for admission a student must :
(a) Required Qualification :
I. Hold a 10 class pass certificate under Board of Secondary Education, Orissa, C.B.S.E. or equivalent for Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mech., Motor Mechanic Vehicle & R & A/C. Higher qualified candidates are also admitted.
II. For Welder trade qualification for admission is minimum 8 class.
III. Admission in MMV Trade 10 class pass with Science & Math. Under 10+2 system.
(b) Age limit : 14 - 40 years for admission in any trade.
(c) Physical Standard :
I. Height : 137 cm. (min)
II. Weight : 25.4 kg. (min)
III. Chest : Expansion should not be less than 32”
IV. Eye sight : Standard vision of 6/13 in each eye, or 6/12 in one eye and 6/24 in the other. Candidates with vision in one eye will be rejected.

Candidates selected for admission should report to Admission Committee with the following documents.
1. A Complete application form provided by CVRIT, if not submitted earlier.
2. 2 sets of photo copy of all certificates and mark sheets , with originals.
3. School or College leaving certificate in original.
4. Seven nos. of photographs duly attested by a Gazetted officer ( 5 nos. stamp size and two nos. passport size)
5. Requisite fee in cash / DD in favour of C. V. Raman Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar.
