Analysis & Design Contest

SSEPL carried out “Analysis & Design Contest” at CVRCE premises. Students were given a piece of output and they were asked to come out with logical screen design, database design.   The winner of the contest was Aniket Sarkar & Rakesh Ranjan (5th Semester, Computer Science Branch of CVRCE).

Training on “Basics of Dynamic Web Design & Hosting”

SSEPL had conducted training on “Basics of Dynamic Web Design & Hosting” at C. V. Raman College of Engineering premises.

Training on following topics was given.

• Web Design using Ms Front Page
• Basics of Database Design using Ms Access
• Server Scripting using Active Server Pages (ASP)
• Internet Information Services (IIS)
• Data Source Name (DSN)
• Open Data Base Connectivity (ODBC)

Training outlines

• Introduction of SSEPL
• Introduction of Training Team
• Presentation on the above mentioned training topics
• Demonstrations of the above mentioned topics
• Practice session by participants

Duration of the training was for 6 hrs. and was conducted on 23-Sept-2007 (Sunday)
